David Stobbe  

Based in Saskatoon, David Stobbe is a commercial, editorial and corporate photographer. For over a decade he has worked as a professional photographer, first as a staff news photographer for a couple newspapers in Banff and then Canmore before moving and starting Stobbe Photography in Saskatoon. He has received multiple awards for his work and enjoys bridging the world of commercial photography with photojournalism. He is a member of PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada). 

He is married and the father of four kids: Lucy, Vince, Henry and Margo. It is his deep love of family and friends which keeps his focus on capturing the emotion and character of his subjects.  

While he keeps a keen eye on the technical side of his work, he will always choose a photograph that says something about the subject versus the one that is technically perfect but stiff and lifeless.
